A few miles outside of Laramie, Wyoming, and north of Rocky Mountain National Park in Colorado, is Snowy Range. On top of the pass are multiple lakes fed by the heavy snowfall of winter. This lake can be seen as you start to leave the summit. It is Bellamy Lake. On July first, I painted here as the clouds spit snow on me. I guess the clouds didn't know it was summer.
